Fuel system and injectors
High-pressure common-rail systems are sensitive to water and contamination. We test rail pressure, injector return and balance rates before recommending injectors, and we check the fuel filter and water separator first because they are the cheapest fix.
Turbo and air side
Low power is often a boost leak, a sticking variable-geometry actuator or a clogged air filter rather than a failed turbo. A boost leak test and a scan-tool actuator sweep tell us which one before parts get ordered.
Cold starts in Kansas winters
Glow plugs, the glow plug controller and intake grid heaters fail quietly until the first cold morning. We test each circuit, not just the fuse, so the truck starts at 10°F the same way it starts in July.
